JotNow is a free, browser-based note-taking application that stores all data locally in your browser's localStorage. We do not operate any servers, collect any personal data, or have access to your notes.

3. Data Storage and Privacy

All notes and data are stored locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data to external servers. Your notes remain on your device and are subject to your browser's data retention policies.

You are responsible for backing up your notes. Clearing your browser data or localStorage will result in permanent loss of your notes.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The content of your notes
  • Backing up your data
  • Ensuring your browser supports localStorage
  • Managing your browser's storage settings

5. No Warranty

JotNow is provided "as is" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not liable for any loss of data or damages arising from the use of this service.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall JotNow or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of JotNow after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
